Jelli Records celebrates 15th anniversay with special charity concert
Jelli Records is set to celebrate a huge milestone with a special show at the Bristol Beacon on March 28.
Founded in 2008, Jelli Records was founded by Steve Parkhouse who has decades of experience in the industry.
The label has supported local talent for over a decade through their open mic nights and radio shows and their programmes of live music at Bristol Harbour Festival and Bristol Balloon Fiesta.
is needed now More than ever
The anniversary celebrations were supposed to take place in November 2023 however the concert was delayed due to Steve receiving treatment after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Steve has continued to work throughout his treatment, putting all his attention into the company’s ongoing events and spotlighting some of the best talent the city has to offer.
“This has kept me going,” Steve tells Bristol24/7 of juggling his work with radiation treatment.
All proceeds from the evening will go to the Brain Tumor Support charity with the charity collecting funds on the evening as well.
Headlining the event will be singer-songwriter Harri Mason and Jamacian singer Oneka Venus, with more special guests yet to be announced.
With so many years of shining a light grassroot artists, Jelli Records will be sure to throw one hell of a party.
