Join the DJ live stream raising money for Medical Aid for Palestinians

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Jul 7, 2021

RepresentAsian podcast is joining forces with Shado Mag to host a DJ live stream – with music from DJs across Bristol, London, Amsterdam and New York.

The stream, which is held on July 8, will be raising money for Medical Aid for Palestinians.

The organisation, which has offices in the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem, Lebanon and London, works with trusted and experienced local partners to achieve a world where all Palestinians can access an effective, sustainable and locally-led system of healthcare.

The one-off stream will showcase DJs across the world from the RepresentAsian and Shado networks, with Saf, Zoe Saidah, Yusuf Suave, Ayesha, and Shimmy all tuning in to play live sets.

The fundraiser comes following the recent increase in violence against civilians in the Israeli-occupied territory of Palestine.

Host of RepresentAsian podcast and DJ, Yusuf Suave, will be joining the stream live from Bristol.

“Our collaboration with Shado Mag is a great way to join forces and create an opportunity to raise awareness of the atrocities in Palestine, fundraise for a vital cause, as well as share the work of talented DJs from across the world,” he said.

RepresentAsian podcast explores the representation and contributions of South Asian DJs in the UK music industry. You can listen on Spotify here.

To join the stream, you can buy a ticket from the Eventbrite and donate on the Justgiving page.
