London radio station acquires local Bristol radio station
The London based radio station, Rinse FM, have acquired radio station SWU.FM, following the closure of the local station in September 2022.
Originally launched in 2016 and relaunched during the Covid-19 pandemic, SWU.FM announced it was to cease broadcasting due to the cost of living crisis, including huge energy bills.
Rinse FM has also bought out the Kool London Radio, the pirate radio station known for being a home for jungle and drum ‘n’ bass in the 1990s.

The station is set to be relaunced as Kool FM on April 23.
