By Rhys Buchanan  Wednesday Oct 25, 2017

Legendary Bristol venue The Louisiana are celebrating their 30th birthday this November with a stellar local lineup. Names performing throughout the day include scrappy local heavyweights Lice through to the forward thinking electronic leaning duo Poisonous Birds.

Over the thirty years the family run venue has been active they’ve welcomed bands like The White Stripes, Muse and Coldplay through their doors. That’s not mentioning the part they’ve played in the development of Bristol based ones like George Ezra, Idles and Thought Forms who have all moved on to great things.

The full list of bands performing are: Bubba, Lice, October Drift, Last Hyena, Human Bones, Oh, The Guilt, Flag Fen, Oxygen Thief, Ghost Of The Avalanche and Poisonous Birds. A special documentary on the local music scene will also be shown.
