New Berlin-style sex positive techno party launches in Bristol

By Issy Packer  Tuesday Nov 7, 2023

A new monthly event hopes to bring Berlin-style clubbing to Bristol.

Launched in September, VIRTUALSEX+ was co-founded by Bristol electronic DJ/producer A Sagittariun.

The club night holds a strict no photos policy, with a sticker applied to your camera as you enter and if you are caught with it removed, you will be asked to leave.

Sexual activity is only permitted in the first-floor playrooms, with the playroom rules printed prior to the evening and posted outside the rooms on the night.

VIRTUALSEX+ has so far hosted two Berghain regulars, Radio Slave and Dutch DJ Van Anh, who performed her Bristol debut in October.

Luke Slater, a techno and electronic music heavyweight, has been announced as November’s headliner, performing an intimate gig at the 300-capacity Dare To Club.

Tickets are on sale now and can be found at https://hdfst.uk/e97622
