Popular broadcasting station to celebrate anniversary with big party
Ujima Radio is celebrating 15 years of broadcasting with a big party for anyone and everyone to attend.
Taking place on December 9, the anniversary party will be hosted by Wordlife’s Krazy and Docta Flex at Bristol Beacon‘s Lantern Hall.
Headlining the event will be Bristol-born soul artist Celestine who will be joined by J Ellis and dancehall/reggae artist, Lixen Khan.

Joining them on the lineup are DJ Style, Faada Sojie, DJ Mac 3, Dancehall Generals, Angel Mel and Docta Flex.
The event promises to give people a chance to meet the the Ujima family and enjoy the lineup of performers featuring some of the DJ’s & MC’s featured on the station, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Ujima Radio is a volunteer-led, non-profit community organisation that aims to promote and highlight minority voices through their radio station.
The radio station became one of three local stations to go digital in 2022, alongside BCFm and Bradley Stoke Radio.
