Preview: Valley Fest
Valley Fest, the lake-side food and music festival, returns from August 3 to 6 for a packed programme of live music and cooking demonstrations.
Taking place alongside Chew Valley Lake, a 30 minute drive outside of Bristol, the festival will welcome headliners Soul II Soul, The Kooks and Scouting for Girls.
An array of Bristol talent is also in attendance, including Ishmael Ensemble, Black-led female/non-binary DJ crew, Booty Bass and Doreen Doreen.

At the helm of the food programme is Josh Eggleton from The Pony Chew Valley.
Attendees can expect a star-studded feast on Fine Dining Friday, curated by two of the region’s finest chefs, Josh Eggleton and Pete Sanchez.
On Saturday, an Italian-inspired feast that will transport you to the Mediterranean. Pegs Quin, Sonny Stores and Danny Bohan, River Cafe London will be showcasing Italy’s vibrant and authentic flavours.
On Sunday, Ali Pumfrey, Yeo Valley, and Rob Howell, Root, will showcase dishes made with ingredients produced using regenerative farming methods.
There will also be a range of cooking masterclass and demonstrations from renowned chefs, including James Golding from The Pig, Noya Pawlyn from Noya’s Kitchen, Sean Martin from Cargo Cantina, Ben Harvey from Bianchi’s Group, Mark McCabe from The Ethicurean, Mazi Project & Bristol Lido, and many more.
