By Martin Booth  Tuesday Mar 22, 2022

Elbow, Paolo Nutini and The War on Drugs have been added to the bill of Bristol Sounds, which is expanding to six nights at the Lloyds Amphitheatre this summer.

The open-air summer concert series will take place from June 22 to 27 with event promoter Conal Dodds of Crosstown Concerts saying it their “strongest lineup yet”.

The other headliners that have already been confirmed are Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Jungle and First Aid Kit.

Dodds said: “After a long period without open air live music, the 2022 event marks a new and exciting rebirth for our harbourside series.

“We’re putting together a bill that represents the city’s diverse musical tastes and heritage and bringing some great names to play in one of our best locations with the backdrop of Bristol’s harbour.

“There are further great artists to be announced and we look forward to our best ever run of shows in Bristol!”

Tickets for all shows are on sale at 9am on Friday at www.seetickets.com.
