Pop superstars Sugababes have been announced as the first headliner for this year’s Siren event series.
The three-day festival that launched in 2022 is set to return to Lloyds Amphitheatre this summer.
As the first headliner to be announced, pop trio Sugababes will take to the stage on August 1 to perform some of their greatest hits, including Push the Button, Freak Like Me and Round-Round.
is needed now More than ever
The band were last seen in Bristol at Loves the Day in 2023.
Last year’s edition saw dancehall and reggae artist Sean Paul, electronic DJ Wilkinson, and the godfathers of drum and bass, Fabio & Grooverider, headline three nights at the Amphitheatre.
Tom Hoyle, co-founder of Siren, said: “Having Sugababes headline at Siren is going to be an extraordinary experience for all of us.
“They’re one of those bands that have connected with so many different audiences and their music holds so many memories for people – and now we get to be a part of creating new memories with them, which is unbelievable.
“Back-to-back bangers as the sun sets on the harbourside, what more could you want from a summer’s night in Bristol?”
Hospitality on the Harbour will also return on August 3 and will see drum and bass stars Andy C, Netsky and High Contrast make an appearance.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on February 15, with general release tickets live on February 16 at https://www.sirenbristol.com/sugababes
