The Longest Johns reveal details of new album

By Martin Booth  Monday Oct 25, 2021

The Longest Johns have a song celebrating their love of beer on new album Smoke & Oakum and exclusively revealed to the Bristol24/7 Behind the Headlines podcast that Arbor Ales is their favourite Bristol brewery.

The sea shanty sensations cut their musical teeth playing at weekly open mic nights at the Swan pub in Thornbury which used to be organised by original member Josh Bowker.

That was around a decade ago so what has seemed to many to be an overnight success story has in fact taken almost ten years for Andy Yates, Dave Robinson, Jonathan ‘JD’ Darley and Robbie Sattin.
