Attention ‘Buffy’ fans: this revamp condenses all seven seasons into 70 minutes
Actor, writer, improviser and voice-over artist Brendan Murphy first came to widespread attention in the cultural landscape with his award-winning 2022 parody show FRIEND (The One with Gunther).
He returned the following summer with the one-man, multi-character Buffy Revamped, which was officially the best reviewed comedy show of the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe.
After a limited Fringe run in summer 2024, Murphy is touring the show around the UK throughout September, with an extra show already added to the Bristol run in response to high demand.

In a 70-minute show directed by Hamish MacDougall, Buffy Revamped condenses 144 episodes and seven seasons of the hit 90s TV show which inspired it, famously starring Sarah Michelle Gellar as the Sunnydale High schoolgirl and teen vampire slayer.
With cameos from a host of familiar faces along the way, this high-energy parody of the story is told through the eyes of the vampire and sometime love-interest for Buffy, Spike.
Buffy Revamped (age recommendation 14+) is at Tobacco Factory Theatres on September 8 at 6pm and 8pm, and September 9 at 8pm. For ticket availability, check www.tobaccofactorytheatres.com.
