In tonight’s edition, UK slam champion Keith Jarrett’s flowing eloquence forces the audience to listen intently and engage with every word. His friendly manner and inspirational writing invites a desire to understand self-worth and to feel happy.

Next up, Rosy Carrick’s alluring presence and explicit honesty aid an assertive performance – enticing the audience to enter her world through her vivid descriptions.

A thought-provoking guest appearance by ‘Dingo’ emphasises the importance of words and their meanings. He is insightful and relaxed in his approach to a range of issues, and the timing of his delivery provides perfect comedy as well as intrigue.

Finally, award-winning poetry legend Tim Wells relates to every audience member through seamless humour and emotion. Referring to current affairs and experiences from love to death, and from murder to vomiting, Tim covers all bases.

The event is beautifully hosted by Anna Freeman, who passionately welcomes poetry lovers, novices and performers in equal measure.

This wonderfully organised must-see event is for anyone who loves poetry, comedy, or simply fancies trying something a bit different in the company of some extremely talented performers.

The next Blah Blah Blah takes place on Monday 17 November, featuring sets from Malika Booker and Talia Randall. For more info and to book tickets visit http://www.bristololdvic.org.uk/malikabooker.html
