Jane Eyre/Wuthering Heights/The Tenant of Wildfell Hall 

Last chance to catch the Brontë Season by Bath’s Live Wire and Butterfly Psyche Theatres. Charlotte’s ultimately uplifting tale of female emancipation, Jane Eyre alternates with Emily’s bleak, romantic epic Wuthering Heights and Anne’s Tenant of Wildfell Hall, often cited as one of the first feminist novels.

The Father

Kenneth Cranham and Lia Williams star in this new play about the relationship between an elderly man and his daughter. Back in its native France, the play won three Molière Awards (France’s Olivier equivalents): this is its UK premiere.

Sister Act

Bristol’s multi-award-winning BLOC Productions stage the comedy musical, centred on a disco diva who witnesses a murder and is sent to the local convent for her own safety. Riotous results ensue.
