‘Rapid fire’ Pecha Kucha Night returns
One often hears the words, “cut to the chase”. Then this event is the answer to their prayers.
After a four-year hiatus, Pecha Kucha Night is returning to Bristol, offering an opportunity for creatives to share ideas with a keen audience.
Pecha Kucha is a unique presentation format that challenges speakers to deliver concise, dynamic talks.
is needed now More than ever
Pecha Kucha, meaning “chit-chat” in Japanese, originated in Tokyo in 2003, created by architects Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham.
The format consists of 20 slides, each shown for 20 seconds, resulting in a 6-minute and 40-second presentation.
The fast-paced style ensures that presentations are engaging and to the point, allowing speakers to convey their ideas clearly and concisely.
Pecha Kucha Night has been a staple of Bristol’s creative community for years. And this year marks the seventh iteration of the event, featuring a diverse group of speakers, each sharing their unique perspectives on the theme of “Happiness”.
Attendees can expect a stimulating evening, with speakers distilling their ideas into their most essential points.
