Jenny Foster – Global Goals Centre

Jenny Foster is the project lead at the Global Goals Centre.
Jenny has worked in sustainability education and campaigning for 15 years, as Bristol and South West Fairtrade Co-ordinator, Regional manager at The Leprosy Mission, and is now the project lead at the Global Goals Centre.
Bristol24/7 has partnered up with the Global Goals Centre for the #Bristol17 campaign, which highlights a different local hero every week on their work to address one of the Sustainable Development Goals ahead of the COP26 conference.
Maria Connolly – TLT Solicitors

Maria Connolly from TLT will be speaking at the panel event.
Maria has over 20 years of experience in the clean energy sector, acting on several hundred wind, solar, biomass, hydro, EV and energy storage projects. She is head of real estate at TLT and leads the cross-discipline clean energy team, which provides innovative legal solutions across the UK.
Katherine Piper – Future Leap
Katherine is the director of partnerships and head of sustainability at Future Leap, which is a community of change-makers that discover, innovate and collaborate on sustainability. Located in the award-winning carbon-neutral hub on Gloucester Road, Katherine oversees the sustainability of the Hub.
Olivia Sweeney – Black & Green Ambassadors

Olivia will be on the even panel.
Olivia Sweeney is an environmentalist and one of Bristol’s Black and Green Ambassadors, a project that explores the intersection of climate and racial justice by connecting and celebrating diverse community action for the environment.
Olivia also works as a Junior Consultant at Resource Futures, a sustainable waste consultancy working to make it easier for people to reduce their waste, recycle and build the circular economy. She was named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Engineering by FT in 2019 and is an advocate for diversity and equity in all forms.
As a city, Bristol is making a way in achieving net-zero status – but still has a way to go. In January 2019, Bristol mayor Marvin Rees launched the first iteration of Bristol’s One City Plan to make Bristol a fair, healthy and sustainable city.
