International Women’s Day: Talks, performances and more
Bristol24/7 will be co-hosting a day of events for International Women’s Day. The events will consist of performances, talks, and workshops.
The programme takes place on March 8 and is in collaboration with Bristol City Council and the Alice Project.
The United Nation’s designated day is a chance to celebrate women, raise awareness and discuss some of the challenges that women across the UK and beyond experience.
is needed now More than ever
These events will turn those discussions into opportunities to tackle the issues and create positive change for all.
The day will kick off at the M Shed at 11:30am, with a varied programme focused on women’s empowerment, gender equality, and inclusion.
There will also be a market with an array of items on sale. If you’re a craftsperson, designer, artist, chef, or have a unique business to share, this is your chance to shine and connect with our community by getting involved.
Applications to participate in the market are currently open.
The celebration will then continue at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, with DJ sets and performances from 6:30pm to 1am.
