Introducing Bristol24/7 Presents panellist: Dr Aby Sankaran

For the next Bristol24/7 Presents events series, Community Manager Hannah Beatrice and Innovation Specialist, James Snelgrove, will be exploring the theme of innovation and how can fast-forward Bristol’s economic recovery.

In the free event taking place on July 8, Bristol24/7 will be partnering with the Bristol Innovators’ Group, where a group of expert panellists will discuss the challenges of the pandemic on economic growth and how the last year may have proved to be an opportunity for businesses to innovate and meet unexpected challenges.

Featuring leading experts in business and innovation, the event aims to promote positive action and help businesses lead the way in fostering innovative ideas and support. The event will also feature additional commentary from people across different sectors in Bristol, including Bristol24/7 Better Business members.

Dr Aby Sankaran

Dr Aby Sankaran is passionate about enabling scientific entrepreneurs to build game-changing deep-tech start-ups. Having worked across academia and industry, she has a strong technical background coupled with her own experience of being part of a start-up.

She is the newly appointed head of innovation and partnerships at Science Creates where she works with a network of local academic institutions, entrepreneurs, investors and strategic service providers to support member companies.
