Ujima Radio to host big blow out for End of Year Celebrations

Ujima Radio CIC will be hosting it’s End of Year Celebration.

The party will be held at Bristol Beacon on Saturday, with legendary songstress Sandra Cross headlining the event with a full live band.

Now in their 16th year of broadcasting, the celebration will be in honour of all of their hardworking volunteers of which their are more than 150, presenters, and of course their listeners who aid it to grow and reach members of the Bristol community close and far.

Support will come from Miss Faithee and Ujima DJ’s will include DJ Style, Skylion, Sim Citi and hosted by Miss Divine & Faada Sojie.

Ujima Radio CIC is a Bristol based radio station transmitting on 98fm and digital. It provides a platform for listeners world wide with a mission to empower, educate, entertain and inform people of African descent primarily but not exclusively.

They have gained national recognition for its programme of work which goes beyond the studio, such as our Sistas With Voices live events, the Black & Green Project and our mission Ujima Nights, showcasing Bristol artists in collaboration with Bristol Old Vic.
