This year’s wet weather didn’t stop thousands of spectators coming out to enjoy Bristol Harbour Festival.
From the diverse line-up of music and circus acts, and the spectacular water-based events, this year’s festival kept up the positive spirit that has drawn thousands of visitors to the harbour every year.
Friday night saw a Booty Base take over the main stage, in what was the first time the stage was given over to DJs.

Meanwhile the hilarious cardboard boat race kicked off at St Augustine’s Reach, with competitors attempting to navigate the water in their home-made vessels while trying to prevent them from sinking.
On Sunday, in a festival first, the popular flyboarding demonstration, which sees crowds pack round the floating harbour, saw two people take to the board in a Barbie special.
The demonstration sees participants stand on hoverboards propelled by huge jets of water.
Dressed as Barbie and Ken, this year’s couple flipped and glided across the water holding pink spray to the soundtrack of Barbie.
Bristol’s Windrush Choir graced the main stage on Sunday as well, bringing joy and colour to a very wet crowd.
And the fire-damaged Underfall Yard was transformed into a dramatic amphitheatre for people to listen to sea shanties being sung.
Over on College Green, circus acts from the team behind Cirque Bijou and the famous baby race delighted crowds.
