Who’s performing, what time and where on Pride Day 2019

Bristol Pride Festival 2019 will take place on the Downs on Saturday 13 July across a variety of different stages. Here is all the information about who is performing and at what time:

Main Stage – hosted by Boogaloo Stu

DJ Karl G will be there to keep the party vibe going during stage resets, playing soul, funk and disco tunes

12.35pm – Shea Freedom
A rising trans singer-songwriter with an angelic voice and lyrics that sing of equality and freedom

1pm – Sing Out Bristol
Bristol’s very own LGBTQ+ choir. Expect twists on pop and contemporary classics

1.25pm – J’Adele
The ultimate live tribute act to Adele brought back by popular demand

2pm – Signkid (deaf performance)
A hip-hop producer, writer and performer who doesn’t let being deaf get in the way by signing his songs

2.25pm – Justin Utley
This conversion therapy survivor speaks candidly about his experience through inspiring lyrics and powerful music

3pm – Boney M
One of the biggest groups to stand out and make their mark in the 70s, enjoy a mix of gospel, disco, soul and reggae

3.35pm – Hazell Dean
An advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Hazell is known for massive club and dance hits

4.05pm – Nina
Rising synth-pop singer-songwriter based in London

4.40pm – Saara Aalto
Showgirl, songwriter, popstar, Eurovision contestant and Dancing on Ice star, Saara is storming the UK pop scene

5.20pm – Four of Diamonds
Empowering, unique, fun and talented, they are the first all-girl band to be signed to Virgin since the Spice Girls

5.45pm – Le1f
Openly gay New York rapper and producer known for unorthodox production and performance styles

6.10pm – Sonique
A dance music force who has been behind several incredible dance tracks, she won Best Female at the 2001 Brits

6.40pm – A1
A1 were the ultimate 90s boyband and now they’re back after selling out their 20th anniversary headline UK show in just four minutes

7.20pm – Dr Meaker
Their award-winning live show is considered by many to be the UK’s best live drum & bass act

8.05pm – Melanie C and Sink the Pink
These two artists come together for a world-colliding live show

8.50pm – Sophie Ellis-Bextor
One of the standout artists from the last ten years of Bristol Pride, Sophie is back for what will be an incredible live show

12pm – Countess Cardonae

WSM Pride’s Got Talent winner kicks off the day.

12.05pm – Vikki Ryan (deaf performance)
Bristol Pride are welcoming their first ever deaf drag queen to the stage this year with a sassy signed performance

12.20pm – Quiches Lorraine
Full-time mother, full-time daytime TV presenter and lipsync extraordinaire is here to show the world that she’s still got it

12.35pm – Gladys All-O’ver
This homely housewife enjoys singing the classics

12.50pm – Oliver Assets
Named in the top 25 drag kings in the world, this transgender non-binary drag king is deadpan and theatrical with a sprinkle of satirical politics thrown in for good measure

1.05pm – Delirium
Bristol’s favourite lesbian drag queen and founder of alternative cabaret night, Slaughterhaus

1.20pm – Carmen Monoxide
A singer-songwriter who is both satirical and sultry

1.35pm – Stephanie von Clitz
An amazing talent that started right here in the South West, she’s now a staple of the London cabaret circuit

1.45pm – Tayce
Welsh supermodel who is heading to Bristol Pride ready to serve all things high energy

2.05pm – Tray La Trash
Dancer, singer, actress and regular host at Bristol’s OMG Bar

2.25pm – Lady Windsor Rose
Mixing old school glamour with new age flair, Lady Windsor Rose has been described as the ‘party girl of the South West’

2.30pm – Lady Imelda
Her stunning voice and unpredictability make Lady Imelda a joy to watch

2.50pm – Jolene Dover
A TV star with a unique style, she’s witty, slightly off-the-wall and has an amazing voice

3.10pm – Tina Sparkle
OMG resident, S4C Wales TV star and all round Welsh wonder

3.30pm – Ky Kelly
Quick-witted and completely outrageous award-winning artist with a unique sense of humour

3.55pm – Donna la Mode
A former West End musical theatre performer with a unique blend of comedy, song and dance and lots and lots of jazz hands

4pm – Mary Mac
Tartan-wrapped Scottish drag artiste who performs all over the world with her original show

4.25pm – Alfie Ordinary
Award-winning international cabaret artist and ESDR regular, Alfie Ordinary is an award winning international cabaret artist

4.50pm – Mary Golds
The Welsh favourite will be bringing her camp humour, quick wit and upbeat songs to Pride

5.15pm – Holestar
The UK’s most established and longest serving female drag queen, she won Best Drag at 2015’s London Cabaret Awards

5.40pm – Martha D’Arthur
Martha D’Arthur is the 2013 Drag Idol Winner who has continued to grow in the UK, as well as performing in the US and Mexico

6pm – Miss Beaver
This Miss Retreat 2012 winner has hosted the Bristol Pride Cabaret Stage for five years and is a firm favourite

6.05pm – Peppermint
Get excited for the RuPaul’s Drag Race season nine runner up who has dominated New York’s drag scene for over a decade

6.35pm – Miss Demeanor
Irish Queen, former Bristol resident and queen of innuendo

6.40pm – Crystal Lubrikunt
International lip sync assassin, storyteller and self-proclaimed “talentless man in a wig”

7.05pm – Son of a Tutu
A firm favourite with the Bristol crowds, customising her set each time, this queen knows how to wow

7.30pm – Lola Lasagne
A Brighton belle who brings her irreverent humour, sharp tongue and live vocals to every show

8pm – Drag With No Name
An amazing performer and Bristol favourite, the queen is one of the most versatile drag artists on the scene

1.20pm – She Choir
A vibrant collaborative choir for anyone 18 and over who identifies as a woman or genderqueer

1.45pm – Bashema
A jazz-influenced soulful songstress with an edgy twist and superb piano skills

2.10pm – Kala Chng
Electro-pop with a Chinese twist, Kala is based in Knowle West and has featured on BBC 1Xtra

2.40pm – Saara Aalto
A chance to catch Saara for an intimate performance before her main stage set later in the day

3pm – Rosie Pound-Clarke (deaf performance)
Rosie is 19, profoundly deaf and her life is all about rock and roll

3.15pm – Bad Lay-Dee
An accomplished singer, rapper and spoken word artist with years of experience

Two are deaf and two are interpreters, join The Freddies for a hilarious ‘Queen’ performance

4pm – Lucy Whittaker
LGBTQ+ pop singer Lucy combines punchy urban pop with energetic performances and has backing from DIVA, Capital Radio and BBC Radio 1

4.30pm – Sloane (deaf performance)
For Sloane, signing her songs intensifies her connection with her lyrics and adds a deeper meaning to the experience

4.50pm – The Cabaret Academy
Offering six-week courses as a way of indulging your inner diva, this is a way to learn something new and express yourself, enjoy cabaret goodness from Bristol’s best

5.50pm – Kal Lavelle
London-based Irish singer-songwriter is fresh from a successful headline tour of Germany

6.30pm – Jordan Gray
British comedian, radio host, magazine columnist and trans woman

7pm – Cosmic Ninja
Bristol electronic rock band with an eclectic musical style, combining influences from a wide variety of genres

Community Area – a place for you to meet businesses, charities and groups committed to providing services to the LGBTQ+ community and supporting the public and their own staff.

Youth Area – a chance for young people to come together and celebrate Pride. A relaxed and safe space for young people to be themselves. For ages 25 and under, this is an alcohol-free zone
