By Bristol24/7  Thursday Nov 30, 2017

Fatboy Slim will be playing his first ever Bristol festival in 2018 when he headlines the Saturday night of Love Saves The Day.

2017 Mercury Prize winner Sampha tops the bill on Sunday in Eastville Park, with organisers confirming that unlike previous years the festival’s music genres will be evenly divided across the weekend.

With 12 stages to choose from, Saturday will feature collaborations with The Blast, Numbers presents Mastermix, Crack Magazine, Futureboogie and Horse Meat Disco, while Sunday sees RUN, Knee Deep In Sound, Percolate, Hold Tight and Artwork Presents Art’s House.

For the first time, Just Jack and Teaching in Dub will host stages on both days of the festival along with Shambarber, Twisted Theatre, Bump Rollerdisco, the Inflatable Church and the Brystal Maze.

Tom Paine of festival organiser Team Love said: “There’s no doubt that Fatboy Slim and Sampha will deliver epic shows next May.

“It’s going to be a seminal year for Love Saves The Day. Our line-up is coming together in an incredibly exciting way at the moment and we’ll have much more to say on that in January. Fatboy Slim and Sampha are just the tip of the iceberg!”

Love Saves The Day 2018 takes place at Eastville Park on May 26 and 27. Tier 1 and Tier 2 weekend and day tickets are sold out. Tier 3 day tickets are now available for Saturday and Sunday at £38.50 with Tier 3 weekend tickets available at £71.50. Visit www.lovesavestheday.org
