Harbour Festival introduces fringe events for first time
The Christmas Steps pub, the new Glassboat gin bar and the Coffee Club shipping container cafe are among the venues for the first ever fringe events at Bristol Harbour Festival.
Featuring everything from live music to DJs to short films, other fringe venues at the festival will be No.1 Harbourside and the former Imax at Bristol Aquarium – now known as the Megascreen.
The festival’s official music venue will be the Thekla, whose lineup includes a DJ set from Jayde Adams, live music from the 789s and Dreamwave, and a top-deck silent disco.

In a joint statement, Vicky Lee, director of Bristol City Centre BID, and Steve Bluff, director of Redcliffe & Temple BID, said: “With the introduction of the 2024 fringe programme, the festival’s reach extends even further, allowing more businesses to participate and benefit.”
To support this year’s festival, taking place from July 19 to 21, there is the option to make a donation – with all donations put directly into the festival programme to support the artists taking part.
