Hay Festival to bring ‘After Hours’ event to Bristol for first time
The world famous Hay Festival is coming to Bristol for the first time in 2025.
The festival’s new ‘After Hours’ event promises “a world of different experiences in a single night”.
Taking place in the Lantern Hall at the Bristol Beacon on March 27, Hay Festival After Hours: Bristol will feature “a night of big ideas, performances, provocations and new thinking with a surprise lineup of emerging and established artists”.

Hay Festival Global CEO Julie Finch said the After Hours event will “take the spirit of Hay Festival to communities across the UK and further afield” with our Hay Festival After Hours events.
Finch, a former director of Bristol Museums, Galleries & Archives, added: “These one-off nights in cities around the UK offer audiences who might not have the chance to come to us in Wales the opportunity to enjoy that unique blend of Hay Festival inspiration.
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Bristol Beacon to make our debut in the city and hope to see many of you there next March.”
