Love Saves the Day to move to new location in 2022

By Martin Booth  Wednesday Sep 29, 2021

It has been one of the least well-kept secrets in Bristol, but the new location of Love Saves the Day has now been made official.

The proposed new home of the dance music festival was first revealed in 2019.

The festival’s tenth anniversary next year will see it begin the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, a four-day Bank Holiday weekend.

Love Saves the Day 2022 will take place on June 2 and June 3 at Ashton Court, with early bird tickets going on sale on Thursday.

Festival founder, Tom Paine, said: “The Love Saves journey over the last decade has been an amazing one. It’s phenomenal to see the growth over the last ten years.

“Starting out in the early days at Castle Park, then to Eastville and more recently the Downs, it’s been quite a ride.

“But now it’s time for a new chapter in the Love Saves story and Ashton Court is an incredibly exciting move for us.

“It’s going to allow us to really expand the event in so many ways; bigger and more spectacular stages, bigger capacities and the biggest lineups we’ve ever had. And we get the bonus of an extra-long Bank Holiday.”
