Wild & Well festival announces first events

A new wellbeing festival taking place in Bristol across the weekend of October 20 and 21 has revealed a diverse programme of events in locations across the city for its debut outing.

Wild & Well is based around four themes – move, eat, connect and explore – and is aimed at anyone who wants to live in a “happier, healthier, more connected way”.

The festival will will take place in venues including M Shed, We The Curious, the SS Great Britain, Brandon Hill and Ashton Court.

Festival highlights look set to include:

  • drum’n’bass dance workshops
  • foraging walks
  • botanical cocktail bar
  • panel talks on topics such as nature connection and mental health, kindness, and ageing creatively
  • shelter building
  • wild caveman cooking
  • speakers including The Times walking correspondent Christopher Somerville and British longboard champion Sam Bleakley
  • mountain biking
  • a silent-disco workout in the woods
  • a dedicated children’s area where children will build their own pop-up adventure playground over the weekend using reclaimed wood

To see the full Wild & Well programme, visit www.wildandwell.org. Tickets are now on sale starting at £30 per day for adults and £50 for adult weekend tickets. Family tickets are £20 per day for adults and £10 for children.
