A different kind of pigs in blankets
A local cider company are teaming up with Windmill Hill City Farm to give the farm’s pigs warm over winter, with festive woolly jumpers.
The jumpers are modelled after Orchard Pig’s range of cider drinks, such as the Reveller, Truffler, and Charmer.

Orchard Pig have designed woolly jumpers for the pigs at Windmill Hill City Farm
“Orchard Pig was born on a farm in the Somerset countryside. Fast forward to 2019, and the cider is available in major cities across the UK so this Christmas we wanted to do something that really went back to our roots,” says Zoe Atkinson of Orchard Pig.
“The team at Windmill Hill City Farm do a fantastic job caring for animals here and given we are vegan and vegetarian certified, we wanted to let people know that there are other ways to get your fix of pigs in blankets this Christmas. This way is much kinder, not to mention much cuter.”

The cider company is raising funds for Windmill Hill City Farm by donating money from pints sold this Christmas, donating £500 during December to support the farm’s continuing animal conservation work.
