Bristol’s first cider and oyster pop-up bar on July 25
Opening its Tap Room successfully despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Cider Box is hosting its first in-person event.
Following from the success of the cider, beer and cheese drive-through held in mid-May, the tap room is hosting a popup oyster bar on Saturday, July 25 2020.
Throughout most of lockdown, the Cider Box, the UK’s largest distributor of craft cider, mostly operated online, opening its tap room in mid-May 2020.

The Cider Box has already made a name as Bristol’s only cider tap room, pressing home-grown apples and serving local ciders from independent producers.
“The Tap Room is the jewel in our crown,” says founder and director Dan Heath. “A showcase for brilliant craft ciders, and a place to press our own apples from Bristol’s community orchards.

From midday to 7pm on Saturday, customers can enjoy fresh oysters straight from Dorset, complemented by a trio of vinegrettes and homemade bread.
Classic French music from the likes of Serge Gainsborg and Jane Birkin will be playing at the event.

The tap room will comply with social distancing guidelines, with reduced table booking and reservation only. All surfaces will be regularly sanitated and drinks will be ordered via a table service app.
