Your Bristol Favourites: Cafes
We asked Bristol24/7 readers on Instagram for their recommendations for the best cafes in Bristol.
These were the places that received the most love:
Fed
Gloucester Road, Cotham and coming soon to Fishponds!
www.fedcafe.co.uk
Fed is living proof that you can have your cake and eat it – there is no compromise between quality and quantity here. The baked goods selection that adorns their counter can only be described as mountainous; whether you’re after a slice of cake, a sausage roll or a colourful salad, there is something for everyone. The chocolate babka, cinnamon bun and tiramasu cake are a must-try. Fed received the most votes from our instagram followers!

Full Court Press
59 Broad Street, BS1 2EJ
Full Court Press sits in the heart of the old city. Bristol24/7 Editor Martin Booth can often be found in there drinking a cold brew and tonic whilst admiring the spiral staircase and beautiful stained glass window. With their roastery situated only two doors up from the cafe, you can rest assured this coffee is as fresh and as carefully sourced as it gets.

Crafty Egg
Stokes Croft and Fishponds Road
www.thecraftyegg.co.uk
Serving up a wide range of all day brunch dishes, the Crafty Egg sites are the perfect place to sit back, relax and watch the world go by. We love the alluring aroma of Extract coffee and generous helping of houseplants!

New Cut Coffee
The Art Warehouse, Wapping Wharf, BS1 4RN
New Cut perches on the picturesque harbourside, just in front of wapping wharf. The service and coffee will both bring a smile to your face, they play some good tunes too! We’d highly recommend a slice of pie to accompany your hot drink.

Burra
Lower Redland Road and Gloucester Road
The welcome in Burra is just as warm as the coffee. Make sure to grab a loyalty card, because you’ll end up coming back here time and time again – whether it’s for the window seats, excellent coffee, tasty brunch dishes or just to chat to the lovely team. Combined with their big focus on local produce and sustainability, it’s no surprise they were recently nominated for the ‘cafe of the year’ award!

Society
Farrs Lane
www.society-cafe.com
Society cafes are popping up all over, and it’s no wonder. With consistently excellent coffee, delicious loose leaf teas, a lovely and personable team and (in Bristol) a spot overlooking the harbourside, this cafe ticks all the boxes.

Cloakroom Cafe
Woodlands Road, BS8 1US
www.cloakroomcafe.com
If you like your coffee with a healthy dose of history, the Cloakroom Cafe is the spot for you. First opened in 1904 as a public toilet, this listed building has been re-imagined as a lovely little cafe with a considerable selection of sweet treats, lunch bits and pastries.
