Bristol Craft Beer Festival to return to harbourside

By Mia Vines Booth  Monday May 9, 2022

Enjoy locally brewed beer and taste some of the best beer from across the globe as Bristol Craft Beer Festival returns this summer.

As well as championing Bristol breweries, the festival will showcase beer from more than 40 world-class breweries, including national and international big-hitters like North Brewing Co from Leeds, Hackney Brewery and New Zealand Beer Collective.

The two-day festival, which takes place on June 10 and 11, will also feature music from DJ Spoony, a member of the UK garage production trio, the Dreem Teem, and Beardyman, a multi-vocalist musician and comedian from London known for his beatboxing skills. Bristol’s very own Saffron Records will also be bringing the tunes.

The festival has expanded this year to showcase the culinary offerings of a diverse range of local chefs including Pegs Quinn, from Sonny Stores, the family-run restaurant in the heart of Southville.

Other chefs include Country Fire Kitchen’s Tom Bray, who will man the brand new fire pit area, cooking up festival-exclusive dishes. Tom Bray is known for creating show-stopping food cooked over fire on a bespoke-built asado equipment.

The Cheese Guys food truck, run by Bristol-based Two Belly, will also be serving raclette and cheese toasties, alongside Mexican street food operators, Little Taquero to line punters’ stomachs.

Promoting this year’s lineup, Greg Wells, founder of the festival said: “Get ready for two days of the best breweries from around the world, a mouth-watering food offering, a mega music line-up and the waterside location of Lloyds Amphitheatre – its an event you don’t want to miss.”
