A Caribbean-themed beach experience comes to Bristol

By Karen Johnson  Friday Aug 16, 2024

A Caribbean – inspired restaurant is offering free food and beer to lucky guests on Friday and Saturday.

Turtle Bay will be hosting a complimentary pop-up to offer an “escape to the Caribbean” in Anchor Square by the Aquarium.

From  midday to 6 pm on both days, guests will have the chance to indulge in several fan-favourites and relax with chilled pints of free beer at a specially set up beach bar.

The pop-up will be divided into three unique sections.

Some treats from Turtle Bay’s mouthwatering new menu

The Red Stripe bar will offer complimentary beer on tap to guests.

Meanwhile, the curry hut will serve trini curry chicken and vegan curry chickpea & callaloo.

But what’s a pop-up without some music?

In the reggae & dancehall hut, Turtle Bay’s resident DJ will be playing groovy beats and presenting special guest entertainment on both days at a reggae and dancehall hut.

The two day pop-up is a free, non-ticketed experience.
