A second Mangosteen has opened in South Bristol.

After the success of his restaurant on Cotham Hill, Kedar Subedi decided to open another Thai influenced restaurant, this time in busy North Street.

The restaurant is named after Thailand’s national fruit

Established by the same team behind RockSalt, HarbourHub, Golden Crane and Mangosteen.

Serving a selection of Thai tapas using fresh produce prepared very quickly by a team of experienced chefs.

This cuisine is something which one of the managers, Greg Wilce, said Bristol is lacking.

Greg defined Mangosteen’s culture as relaxed, with records spinning while visitors eat and the employees working in a “close knit community.”

The restaurant seats 55 people and is open everyday from 1-11pm.

Mangosteen is located between Ocean Estate Agents and Northwood Estate and Lettings Agency
