Brewery marks anniversary with multiple industry recognitions

By Milan Perera  Tuesday Aug 27, 2024

Newstalgic 8 is the name of the limited edition beer from Lost & Grounded to mark the brewery’s eight-year anniversary.

The West Coast-style pilsner has a hint of citrus and pine flavours.

Lost & Grounded on Whitby Road in St Anne’s was founded by Annie Clements and Alex Tronsco, who wanted to introduce German- and Belgian-inspired lagers to British beer aficionados.

Lost & Grounded have recently secured two spots on We Are Beer’s Top 50 UK Beers list with their award-winning flagship lager Keller Pils taking second place and Running with Sceptres 34th in the rankings.

The brewery has been shortlisted at this year’s Brewers Choice Awards in the ‘Sustainability Champion’ and ‘Brewery of the Year’ categories.

Co-founder Annie Clements said: “We are proud once again to be recognised in two categories at the Brewers Choice Awards.

“We have continued to grow in a really challenging market, and being a finalist against some other amazing brewers is humbling, and a testament to our fantastic team.

“We are particularly excited to be sharing the stage with fellow Bristol brewers Wiper and True, and for us to be raising awareness of the South West brewing scene.”
