Bristol Cider Shop to move to Wapping Wharf

By Bristol24/7  Sunday May 22, 2016

Bristol Cider Shop is to move from the Christmas Steps to Wapping Wharf at the start of July.

A double unit at shipping container development Cargo will provide a larger space to run cider tastings, with the move being marked by the launch of a new brand of cider.

“We’re really excited and sad at the same time,” said Bristol Cider Shop owner Pete Snowman (above).

“Our tastings have really taken off and the shop is tiny so we can only fit a few people in at a time.

“Cargo will give us a much better space for events – and it will be great to be part of what’s shaping up to be an awesome food and drink scene there. At the same time we’re gutted to be leaving Christmas Steps.”

Cider tastings will continue at the Christmas Steps shop until the end of June and there will be a new programme of tastings and events from July at their new home.

These will include public tastings every Friday night, cider and food matching evenings, regular meet the producer events, and private tastings.

As well as Pizzarova who have already arrived at Wapping Wharf, Bristol Cider Shop will be joining other food and drink businesses coming soon including cafes Little Victories and Mokoko, a Better Food shop, and Wild Beer bar.
