Bristol Distilling Co to move into whiskey production
A distillery in Bedminster wants to do two “big things” with the money they are looking to raise from a new crowdfunding campaign.
Bristol Distilling Co. are based in the Malago Vale Estate off St John’s Lane, where they both make their gin and have a taproom and bar.
The team began life as food truck Chomp, with a food truck still serving customers at the taproom and Chomp restaurant on St Nicholas Street in the Old City rebranded at the end of 2020 to Bristol Distilling Co. Bar & Diner.
is needed now More than ever
We’ve been making our award-winning tipples since 2018, and we’ve had an incredible start,” say the team on their website.
“Now we’re looking to keep the incredible going, which is where you come in (we hope).
“We’re launching an equity funding round on crowdcube and are inviting you to join us and invest in our business because we want to do two big things: invest in our taproom and invest in our whiskey.”
Fans of the distillery will be able to become shareholders for as little as £10.
The team added: “2020 was a hell of a year in so many ways, but despite all the challenges we were still able to continue growing.
“With better times now within touching distance, we can’t wait for a busy summer. With a bit of your help, we can make it the best one yet.”
