Bristol favourite Fed opens fourth cafe

By Leah Hoyle  Wednesday Nov 13, 2024

One of Bristol’s favourite cafes has opened their fourth location.

Fed no. 4 in Westbury-on-Trym serves a range of hot and cold drinks, cakes and pastries, and lunch options of sausage rolls, seasonal salads and sandwiches.

It follows their first cafe on Gloucester Road, with their other two sites in Cotham and Fishponds.

Savoury and sweet options are available at Fed

The cake counters are already bursting with unique creations with Guinness cake, blackberry polenta cake and a tiramisu cake all on display on the new cafe’s second day of opening on Tuesday.

Alongside traditional pastries like pans au chocolate and croissants, they also do tahini brownies and cinnaswirl buns.

The navy and plant-filled interior is consistent throughout Fed’s four locations across Bristol

The drinks menu is rich with colourful smoothies and fresh juices, as well as all of the classic hot drinks plus an original Fed chai.

For their coffee, Fed uses Yallah whose roastery is in Kergilliack near Falmouth in Cornwall.

The newest Fed on Canford Lane has replaced a wood burning stove shop and before that, a shoe repair and key cutting business.

With a slightly bigger interior to their other locations, there’s plenty of seating available including window seats, big tables for groups or corners to sit with a laptop.

The inside remains consistent with Fed’s familiar navy blue, featuring an array of plants and greenery.
