Bristol’s first spirits school opening soon
Shifty about whisky? Want to get the in with gin?
Now you can as Bristol is to get its first spirits school at Spirited on North Street which will offer qualifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
Spirited founder Katy Kennedy said that the WSET courses “are the gold standard for spirits education, and we know that everyone who attends will come away having learned something new, even the most seasoned bartender”.

Individuals undertaking Level 1 will explore the main styles and types of spirits through sight, smell and taste; developing an understanding of key factors affecting flavours and aromas.
Level 2 explores production methods, key practises and the use of spirits within cocktails.
