Burra open second Bristol cafe
Already a firm favourite on Lower Redland Road, Burra now has a second cafe that is already feeling right at home in its new neighbourhood.
The new Burra has a number of nooks and crannies that are perfect to hide away in while enjoying the current food menu of banana bread, granola or chickpea curry.
With an Australian and New Zealander among its three owners, the cafe also has TimTams for sale like in its original home.

There are plenty of nooks and crannies
Burra’s new home towards the top end of Gloucester Road was previously Jackalope and there are plans not just to spruce up its existing garden but also to create a new patio at the front of the cafe.
Walk in to be greeted by a groaning counter of pastries from Hobbs House Bakery of Chipping Sodbury, and cakes made by Sarah Devereux aka Flourbloom and Exeter’s Exploding Bakery.

You might find a Bristol Bears player inside as well, because that Australian is Luke Morahan and that New Zealander is Jake Heenan, with Burra also co-owned by Bears head of operations Tom Tainton.
Keeping it in the Bears family, the Burra logo has been designed by another first XV player, Chris Vui, with his handiwork taking up much of one wall, with table service for the customers sat beneath it and a warm welcome guaranteed.
