Cafe on four wheels opens in Eastville Park
After a successful opening weekend, Kind Regards will not be opening on Bank Holiday Monday due to the forecast rain.
The cafe on four wheels in Eastville Park “has been a dream a long time in the making” for its owner Kate – who promises to use her unexpected day off to fix a leak before returning at the weekend.
Found in the car park off Park Avenue, Kind Regards serves food including toasties, pastries, cakes and cookies, as well as tea and coffee.

During their opening weekend, a number of blue pedals were hidden around Eastville Park with any child finding them able to claim a free hot chocolate.
Future plans are for the cafe to be open from Wednesday to Sunday.

Writing on Instagram on Sunday, Kate said: “After an absolute beautiful weekend, tomorrow is gonna be horrendous apparently and we’ve discovered Baby Blue has a small leak so I’m off to fix that and will be back next weekend!
“I just wanna say an enormous thank you to everyone who came by and made us feel so welcome, launching Kind Regards at Eastville Park has been a dream a long time in the making and I couldn’t be happier.
“We’ll be upping the toastie levels for next weekend for sure, apologies if we didn’t have enough for you all this time!”
