Charity banquet for Help Refugees
Pinkmans, an independent bakery on Park Street, will be hosting a decadent ten-course mezze sharing menu, with cocktails, fresh breads and desserts – all in the name of charity.
The sumptuous Middle-Eastern banquet will be created at the Coexist Community Kitchen, Hamilton House – a charity project supporting people through cooking and food.
Organisers say the menu has been specifically designed to echo traditional dishes from refugees’ home countries, with strong, fresh flavours and vibrant colours.
is needed now More than ever
All funds raised by the event will enable charity Help Refugees to continue to provide emergency aid and vital services to those affected by the global refugee crisis.
Donations will primarily be spent on supplying warm clothes, food and water to those living without basic necessities, and will also help fund some 80 projects across Europe and the Middle East.
The event starts at 7pm on Friday July 7, tickets at £35 per head.
