By Martin Booth  Monday Sep 18, 2023

Crispy Dosa is opening in Bristol following restaurants in towns across the south of England including Watford, Windsor and Reading.

The 100 per cent vegetarian restaurant specialising in Chettinad cuisine from south India opened their first branch in 2000.

“Our customers are our strength and we ensure every customer visiting us will get value for money, service and quality,” says the Crispy Dosa website.

“We take immense pleasure in welcoming our guests to offer them a home away from home experience and ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness and hygiene in preparing, preserving and serving food.

“We constantly strive to innovate and improve our business model to meet our growing customer needs.”

Crispy Dosa is opening on Union Street in what for almost 50 years was much-loved Italian restaurant, La Grotta, which closed in June.
