Deep-fried Mars bar and Irn Bru sorbet on menu at new restaurant
Bristol artists Inkie and Sepr have added a splash of colour to the outside of a restaurant opening soon which has deep-fried Mars bar and Irn Bru sorbet on its menu.
Bookings for the first six-course tasting menu at Six By Nico in Quakers Friars are now open from February 17.
The menu called ‘The Chippie’ is inspired by owner Nico Simeone’s family heritage and classic British dishes.

Simeone said: “The Chippie was originally created to bring a sense a taste of nostalgia, with each dish a nod to moments we have all experienced growing up, enjoying the classics; fish and chips, sausage suppers.
“The Chippie is a personally important menu for me as it marks the beginning of my journey with Six by Nico and acts as an ode to my family.
“For Bristol, I have tweaked the dishes to bring even more nostalgia and to hopefully, spark conversation and moments around the table.
“I am really excited and feel humbled to be sharing this experience with the people of Bristol and afar. I really cannot wait.”
