By Karen Johnson  Thursday Nov 21, 2024

Uncle Wah is opening a second premises on Gloucester Road, adjacent to the British Heart Foundation.

The site was formerly home to Bristol Loaf’s wine venture, Native Vine, which sells organic wine.

Native Vine continues to operate from three locations in the city: Redfield, Bedminster, and Bristol Beacon.

Even though the dim sum restaurant announced its first location in January, the grand opening of its North Street premises only happened in July, and reservations opened soon after.

The green palette from their North Street store is clearly visible at their second premises

After a successful stint in Bedminster, now Uncle Wah is ready to move towards a more central location.

Uncle Wah hasn’t confirmed an opening date for their second restaurant but has only shared a sneak peek of the location.

Taking to Instagram, they said: “SECOND LOCATION! Can you guess where our new location is?

“We are beyond grateful for the support you have shown our small family-owned restaurant. Thanks to you, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our SECOND BRANCH!!

“You can enjoy the same freshly made dim sum at our new location. Stay tuned and keep a close eye on our page, we’ll be sharing sneak peeks and updates that you don’t want to miss!

“Once again, thank you for being a part of our incredible journey!”
