Eatchu to open in new location

By Martin Booth  Saturday Jan 13, 2024

From February, there will be a new place to find Bristol’s award-winning gyoza as Eatchu open in a new home.

“We are MADLY excited,” said husband and wife team, Guy and Vic Siddall.

Their original restaurant in St Nick’s Market has recently been joined by a second Eatchu at Wiper & True’s taproom in Lawrence Hill, with their new home due to be located on Queen’s Road just off the Clifton Triangle in what for almost 30 years was Rocotillos and was most recently Pizza Bianchi.

Guy and Vic’s passion for Japanese food began after eating it on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka before founding Eatchu in 2016.

Their award-winning dumplings are all made from scratch, with their new restaurant likely to be serving gyoza as well as Japanese fried chicken and donburi rice bowls like they do at Wiper & True, with the added possibility of ramen.
