Gallimaufry collaborate with Good Chemistry for new beer
Gloucester Road bar and restaurant The Gallimaufry have joined forces with St Philip’s brewery Good Chemistry to create a pale ale exclusively on tap at The Galli.
In Our Nature was made with a mixture of three hops – ahtanum, cascade and el dorado – providing a citrus, orangey, tropical taste.
The pump clips are hand painted by Bristol signwriter and illustrator Hannah Sunny Whaler and artist Dave Bain, both of whose work can be seen in The Galli.
is needed now More than ever
“It’s hard not to notice this about Bristol, but there’s a tangible amount of collaboration in the air and when the opportunity arose to not only buy some of Good Chemistry Brewing’s beers for The Galli, but to actually work with them to come up with our own pale ale exclusively available here on tap, we couldn’t say yes quick enough,” said The Galli team.
“Bob and Kelly from the BS2-based brewery, which has only been going about a year and a half but is already a firm favourite and one of a number of incredible breweries across the city, have both lived this way for years.
“So we’re even more chuffed that as part of the Gloucester Road community themselves that they were keen to lend us their skills and make us a beer for our neck of the woods.
“Basically right from the off, we knew that coming up with an easy drinking beer for sunny days out the front of The Galli was a brief that we could all visualise!”
