Giving a helping hand to pubs before they reopen
A Bristol brewery wants to help pubs restock their cellars before they are due to reopen in April.
Good Chemistry’s ‘Help Us Help Pubs’ initiative gives punters discounts for beer at home and also lets them help their local publican.
Everybody who buys a case of cans from Good Chemistry’s webshop until April 12 will not only receive a 10 per discount but also the opportunity to nominate a pub of their choice which will receive credit towards the St Phillip’s brewery’s beer when pubs are allowed to reopen.
is needed now More than ever
Good Chemistry co-founder and head brewer, Bob Cary, said: “We’re all missing going to the pub, and this continued enforced closure isn’t something any of us would have anticipated a year ago that we’d still be suffering under.
“And now, having basically been closed since the start of November, pubs will have to re-stock their cellars all over again in order to open back up in April.”

Good Chemistry co-founder, Kelly Sidgwick, added: “We want to give your favourite pubs a helping hand when it comes to restocking, and let them know their customers are ready and waiting to show them the love they deserve.
“We hope it’ll give pubs a bit of a boost knowing their customers out there have got their backs.”
