Greek coffee franchise opens first cafe in Bristol
“From our seed to your cup” is the motto of Coffee Lab, who have opened their first cafe in Bristol.
There was plenty of Greek being spoken in this cafe on Gloucester Road on Monday morning, giving a clue to the provenance of this franchise business.
Greek food including karidopita (walnut pie), galaktobureko (custard pie) and kourou (cheese pie) is for sale, alongside more than a dozen different coffees.

Coffee Lab has more than 100 cafes in Greece, and others in Turkey, Egypt, Bulagria and Germany, with the Bristol cafe being their third opening in the UK after Chorlton Cum Hardy in Manchester and Buckshaw Village in Lancashire.
Bristol’s first Coffee Lab has opened in a former hairdressers next to Blue Lagoon, with the most popular seats on Monday morning on their covered outside terrace.
