How you can buy part of a Bristol brewery
Bristol brewery Left Handed Giant have ambitious expansion plans which will be funded by a share offer open to fans of their beer from the city and further afield.
Overlooking the Floating Harbour in the new Finzels Reach development, Left Handed Giant’s new ‘brewpub’ will house their new brewery from where beer will be able to be poured directly to customers’ glasses.
Above the brewpub will be a table-service restaurant, whose kitchen will also provide a smaller menu for patrons in the bar downstairs.
is needed now More than ever
“We want our brewpub to to be a truly world class facility with a food offering to match our quality of beer and beer service,” the Left Handed Giant team say.
They add that “this fusion of impactful beer and food can help establish our facility as a destination venue for beer and food fans across the globe”.
Left Handed Giant’s existing tap room in St Philip’s close to the start of the Bristol & Bath Railway Path will continue, but this site will be developed into a barrel store and sour beer production facility.
The aim here is to make beers with a real tie to Bristol’s ecology and microflaura.

The unit next door will house a cold store and packaging facility for the beers brewed at Finzels Reach, which will go into 440ml cans and into kegs.
In the future, Left Handed Giant hope to open more of their bars in other cities across the UK as well as growing their wholesale business.
The share offer is looking to raise at least £450,000 to buy equipment and pay for the installation and fit-out.
Bristol beer fans who choose to participate will own fully voting shares in Left Handed Giant, and get discounts in their premises and upcoming online shop.
