Inkie designs new pub sign for Pipe & Slippers
The Pipe & Slippers has got a temporary sign thanks to one of Bristol’s most acclaimed street artists.
A new work by Inkie is now in place before a permanent sign is installed.
“It looks wicked!” the Pipe & Slippers team wrote on Instagram. “Feel very privileged to have an Inkie adorning the front of our pub.”

The old sign was removed as it was in danger of falling.
While that it now on street level on Cheltenham Road and before the permanent new sign is installed, Inkie has painted an interim design featuring his distinctive lettering.

“Our ironwork was looking a bit sad and lonely with nothing in it,” said the Pipe & Slipper team.
“And so to the rescue came our good pal @inkiegraffiti, who knocked us up this absolute beauty of a sign!!”
