Knoops opening first shop in Bristol
Knoops began from a small shop in Rye in East Sussex, serving a variety of different chocolate drinks close to its medieval town walls.
They now have 17 shops across the UK and are soon set to open in Bristol for the first time.
The concept that German-born founder Jens Knoop first perfected in Rye more than a decade ago continues with a menu based around percentages of different chocolates.

Customers choose their chocolate percentage, milk, and extra flavours like sea salt, orange zest or chilli to be made into a hot chocolate, mocha, milkshake or iced chocolate.
They also sell hot chocolate flakes which you can use to make drins at home, with a range from 28 per cent white to 43 per cent milk all the way up to 100 per cent extra dark.
Knoops will be opening in Bristol in July in the former Body Shop on Queen’s Road opposite Bristol Museum.
