In an Instagram post, the owners said: “It’s last orders for us at The Star & Dove.”
“We’ve had to make some very hard decisions recently (we won’t bore you with the details..) but we’re deciding to move on to pastures new.
“The Star and Dove family past and present have loved being part of the Totterdown local community and Bristol’s thriving hospitality scene the last four years.
“We’ll miss every part of it – but we’re still not gone yet….
“We don’t know the exact dates but it’s looking like May – June giving plenty of time for leaving parties, everyone to get their last roasts and evening meals booked in and everything in between.”
